Guest lecture was arranged on 26th August 2011 on topic "Hardware Installations & Maintenance". The resource person was Mr. Ramakrishnan N. Iyer. He is Microsoft MCP certified engineer. He did chip level repair training at "Aforeserve.com"- chennai & Noida for repair of motherboards & peripherals. He also owns shop in Margao named "PC Clinik- the future of IT servicies".

Guest Lecture on Robotics
Guest Lecture held on 21st Jan 2011 on "ROBOTICS- a computer science perspective" by Dr. Vijay Rajpurohit. He is working as a professor in Computer Science & Engineering Department in G.I.T, Belgaum. All final year CE, IT and ETC students attended the talk. Dr. Rajpurohit did his B.E. in Computer Science and Engg from Karnataka University Dharwad in 1997, M.Tech at N.I.T.K Surathkal in 2003 and PhD from Manipal University, Manipal in 2009.
His area of research is Robot Path planning. He has published 05 journal papers, presented papers in 06 International and 03 National conferences. He has also 01 patent out of his Ph.D work.

A member of an association of computer students in R.I.E.I.T (CLICK) shall:

Goals and Objectives:
- Keeping in mind the interest of the students, CLICK will work towards, making the right profession an area of choice amongst all students in SRIEIT.
- Will prepare students to be qualified and capable of functioning as professional computer scientists in the workplace in future.
- Will broadly educate students to enrich their life experiences & enhance computer knowledge.
- Provide students with the ability to perform analysis, specification, design and implementation of quality computer solutions.
- Develop students with theoretical computer science backgrounds and the mathematical and analytical maturity necessary to allow them to adapt to changing requirements in the job market or enter graduate programs in computer science.
- Instill within students the technical, communicative, and character skills that will prepare them for leadership roles.
- Empower students with the knowledge and basic foundation necessary to make ethical and responsible choices.
- To fulfill this objective, the CLICK will regularly organize conferences, conventions, guest lectures, workshops, seminars, competitions like quiz, paper presentation and give away various prizes and awards.
- The association will ensure that regular training and skill updating are organized for the students.
- The association will also work towards a global approach, by seeking out alliances with other related organizations that may be willing to come forward and participate in such activities.
- Association will also help college in formulating IT strategy & planning.
A member of an association of computer students in R.I.E.I.T (CLICK) shall:
- Organize the resources available to him and optimize these in attaining the objectives of the association.
- Not misuse his authority or office for personal gains.
- Comply with the college laws relating to the management of his association and operate within the spirit of these laws.
- Conduct his affairs so as to uphold, project and further the image and reputation of the CLICK.
- Maintain integrity in research and publications.
- Act with integrity in carrying out the lawful policy and instructions of the association and uphold its image and reputation.
- Plan, establish and review objectives and tasks for himself and his subordinates which are compatible with the Codes of Practice of other members in the association, and direct all available effort towards the success of the association rather than of himself.
- Fully respect the confidentiality of information which comes to him in the course of his duties, and not use confidential information for personal gain or in a manner which may be detrimental to this association.
- In his contacts and dealings with other members, demonstrate his personal integrity and humanity and when called to give an opinion in his professional capacity, shall, to the best of his ability, give an opinion that is objective and reliable.
- Set an example to his subordinates through his own work and performance, through his leadership and by taking account of the needs and problems of his subordinates.
- Pay proper regard to the safety and well being of the personnel for whom he is responsible.
- Share his experience with fellow professionals.
- Be objective and impartial when giving independent advice.
- Make the most effective use of all natural resources employed.
- Be ready to give professional assistance in community affairs.
